D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU), Pune, Maharashtra provides a BTech program that is industry-oriented and aims to groom engineers of the future. Courses & Eligibility

Getting a degree of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth is an easy and hassle-free process for you. You will be gaining a strong grounding in theoretical knowledge and practical skills, while also taking part in our compulsory industry internship program to equip you with the know-how that employers demand.

Duration: BTech is a 4-year-long course with regular industry interactions, internships and projects.
Medium: English. If your previous studies were entirely in English, you may not need to take another test.
Eligibility: Prominent amongst the Best B.Tech. programs in Jaipur at the class 12 (10+2) stage and exemptions (only for students upholding a domicile of Rajasthan).
Admission: Admissions are based on the scores at JEE/MHT-CET; merit-based admission is also available, in general no university level entrance test for a bachelors degree.
2026-27 intake: Rolling admissions with counseling; early applications recommended.
Documents (step by step): 1 Online application + fee; 2 Class 10 & 12 marksheets, 3 Photo IDs (Aadhaar/Passport),4 Passport photos, 5. Transfer/Migration certificate, 6 English-medium/IELTS-waiver letters, etc. (if required); 7. Medical fitness, G Category/DOMICILE(if applicable), 9. Passports and FRRO docs for international students.

Fee Structure

For BTech 2026–2027, yet to be released, you can join for approx. the education fee/full total cost of the B.Tech course: Rs 8,00,000 (total program fees may change as per specialization and the notified university). This fee is an approximation, and it is paid on a semester basis. Certificate fees do not include security deposit, hostel fee, mess/food, transport, Uniforms/Examination/Convocation or any other charges whatsoever as mentioned on this website. Scholarships and fee concessions & educational loan support letters are available, as per policy. Fees are subject to change at the discretion of the University/Regulatory bodies. Fees will have to be paid if the new (revised) fee structure becomes applicable. And always have a budget for accommodations separate from the one-off fee for food and lodging. Early applicants can more effectively budget and pursue aid opportunities prior to counseling and onboarding.

Hostel

DPU provides convenient and safe hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Units are generally equipped with a bed, study table, and storage for single or shared use occupants, as available. Hostels are provided with 24x7 security, CCTV cameras in common areas, a warden, study rooms, Wi-Fi, laundry points and housekeeping. The mess on the college campus also provides healthy Indian dishes that come with both veg and non-veg options, and cleanliness is well taken care of. Allocation is normally on a "first-come, first-served" basis upon payment of a fee and submission of relevant supporting documents. Hostel fees, mess charges and a one-time caution deposit are charged extra and not included in the education fee. Strong hostel regulations, the discipline of silence, and a conducive residential culture help in academic focus as well as community life.
